Privacy policy

HELIOBANE by Gand Games · Effective 30 September 2026

HELIOBANE does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the game does not talk to any server run by us.

This policy covers HELIOBANE on every platform: the phone versions on Google Play and the App Store, and the desktop versions on Steam. HELIOBANE is made and published by Gand (Gand Games), an independent studio based in Tokyo, Japan.

What stays on your device

Purchases

The phone versions are free to play for the first three stages; the rest is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your name, email address or payment details. The game only asks the store on your device whether the full game has been bought, so it can unlock it, including on a new phone or after a reinstall. Google and Apple send us anonymous sales reports (for example, the number of sales per country), as they do for every developer.

Steam

The desktop versions run through Steam. Achievements and, for the full game, Steam Cloud saves are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. We receive only the anonymous, aggregate statistics Steam gives every developer.

Stores and crash reports

Google, Apple and Valve may collect information when you download, update or use apps from their stores, for example crash reports and diagnostics you have agreed to share with them. That happens under their own privacy policies, not through the game. Any crash reports they pass on to us contain technical data about the crash only.

Children

HELIOBANE is not directed at children under 13. Because the game collects no personal data from anyone, it does not collect personal data from children either.

Changes

If the game ever starts handling personal data, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
