An Amiga-style vertical shoot 'em up. Fly the sun-killer gunship inward to the heart of a star, then chase what gets away: three worlds, fifteen stages.
The whole palette. Every sprite in the game is drawn from these 32 colours.これが全パレット。ゲーム中のスプライトはすべてこの32色で描かれている。
Feels like 1993, plays like 2026見た目は1993年、手ざわりは2026年
320×256 pixels, 32 colours, tracker music and bit-crushed digitised speech, the way an Amiga did it. Underneath: 60 frames a second with no slowdown, a 4×4 pixel hitbox, instant restarts, remappable keys and full gamepad support.
Two front guns on a rack you swap between mid-fight, a rear gun and two sidekick pods, each upgradeable to level 5. What you buy between stages decides how the next one goes.
Every stage ends in a Herald that fills the screen and changes between phases. Explosions are big, the screen shakes, and when a Herald dies, Aurum rains down.
“Welcome to the Magpie, kiddo!”「マグパイ号へようこそ、嬢ちゃん!」Old Mottオールド・モット
Old Mott flies a patched-up salvage tug and turns up between stages whether you want him to or not. He buys Aurum, the gold-glass residue the Umbrine leaves behind, and he sells guns he definitely didn't steal from the Concord armoury.
Buy, upgrade, sell back at half what you paid, repair armour, stock up on flares. Five front guns, three rear guns and three pods, in three damage types:
The type matters because the Umbrine grows its war-forms out of different stuff. Glass shrugs off bullets and cracks under beams. Sun-fed flesh drinks beams and fires faster for it. Concord plating barely notices anything but blast.
Let an enemy bullet pass within 10 pixels of your cockpit without touching it and you gain a point of heat. Kill something with the damage type it's weak to and you gain three. At 50 heat you can fire the Breaker: a white-gold column from your nose to the top of the screen.
It barely does damage. What it does is Breach everything it touches for six seconds: hull plating comes off, sealed cores open, and whatever a thing is made of, it counts as flesh until the timer runs out. It won't clear bullets. That's what flares are for.

The sun-killer太陽殺し
Aurel is an old orange star with five inhabited planets and a thousand years of mining, trade and small wars behind them. Nobody looked at the sun. Then Project SOLACE drilled a siphon into it, and something in the star's belly tasted refined energy for the first time.
The Umbrine is a crystalline, half-organic hive that eats fusion. It doesn't conquer; it grows. In ninety days it took the Tharsis mining belt, the ocean moon Verdigris and the entire Concord battle fleet, which it didn't destroy but wore, like a hermit crab wears a shell.
At Solmarch Yards one ship had spent eleven years under a tarp: HB-0, a gunship hardened to fly inside a star's corona and deliver a single weapon, the Solar Lance. Chief Engineer Oda Venn fuelled her, loaded the Lance and held the dock doors open long enough for her to launch.
Her pilot is Ilse Varr, callsign Wren: a salvage runner from the Tharsis belt with two smuggling convictions and the best reflexes in the system. She is sarcastic, frightened, and very, very good.
